Did you know that the land where our little library sits was deeded to “the children of Summertown” back in 1921? Nearly 105 years later, it still belongs to them!

How special is that? We are so grateful that the Sandcastle Children’s Library gets to call Gould Children’s Park home, and to be part of a place that has been set aside for generations of children to enjoy.

A little piece of Summertown history, and a pretty wonderful place for a children’s library.

A place for children, since 1921…
